You have the option of cutting out the strips and selecting those you feel are suitable for your students and sticking them into workbooks or the students can complete the worksheets. <strong>Find and Write Carousel Activity</strong> The students are up and moving in this activity. Once they have completed the task on table 1, they then move on to table 2 with a different selection of pictures with Table 2 Worksheet CVC List and so on to Table 6. Each table contains a set of different pictures which relates to each worksheet with the same pictures. Children work in table groups. When the children change tables, hand out the ‘Find and Write List’ for that table for children to write on. You can set a time limit for working on each table. The students look at the worksheet for, e.g. table 3. They will see six pictures. These presentations can cover numerous phonic sessions. Play in Slide Show Each presentation contains 80 slides and has three different functions - see below The presentations are set up so that you have to click on the arrows, home, end slide function buttons. To reveal the letters in each word, you have to click on the purple squares. Click on any slide you want to use by going back and forth on the arrows. You can end the Slide Show at any time, click on END SLIDE SHOW>. In Slide Show you can use the forward/backward arrows to select the slides you want to use in your phonics lesson. This resource relates to counting 2D shapes of different colours. It is a 3-in-1 product that covers the early learning of colours, shapes and basic counting up to 10. Each page contains the same shapes but they are different colours. An ideal resource for children to practise colour recognition, 2D shapes and counting. Ideally, each sheet should be laminated and used with a dry-erase pen. Children count the shapes that are the same colour and then write the number in the space provided. This is a fun matching hands-on activity working with 2D shapes. Aimed at: Early Years/Year 1, SEN and children learning English. <strong>Content:</strong> Ten sets of Shape Match Mats – Set 1 to Set 12 Ten sets of Shape Cards – Set 1 to Set 12 Labels for shapes Shapes used: square, circle, triangle, rectangle, oval, pentagon, diamond/rhombus, heart, star, crescent and trapezium shape. This resource contains a set of numbers 0 - 10 with 3D shapes in black and white. If you are teaching numerals and counting and 3D shapes, here are some extra resources for your children to colour in and/or cut out and stick into their workbooks or on a separate sheet of paper. The numbers are on whole pages in two sizes - A4 and 8.5 x 11". Content: Numbers cards 1 to 10 containing 3D shapes Clipart numerals 0 to 9 How to use: Children colour in the shapes and the background; or Colour in the shapes only and then cut around the number and stick into their workbooks. You could cut out the numbers and stick into their workbooks or on a separate sheet of paper with handwriting guidelines for children to practise writing the number and then colour in. After colouring in the number, children can draw objects representing that number. 3D Shapes: cube, cuboid/rectangular prism, sphere, hemisphere, cylinder, square-based pyramid, triangular prism, cone and tetrahedron.
